We were new to Florida and started our little one at a brand new daycare facility in Cape Coral, thinking it’s new, it has to be good. We ended up taking him out about a month in because we just didn’t get a good feeling.

Coming from Maryland our daycare experience was more than incredible, so to have such a terrible experience with this brand new facility was discouraging/disappointing.

We were deciding on what to do about childcare, interviewed some Nanny’s and while that would have been ok for a short term, we wanted our little guy to have social interaction with kids his age, so the search for a reputable/good reviews/word of mouth daycare continued.

I was referred to A Home Away From Home and reached out to Gabby (owner) and was able to go in for a tour. It was very clean, organized and the kids that were there were having fun and happy. The staff was amazing as well, answering all my questions (I had a lot). About two weeks later my little guy started. It was such a blessing to have found A Home Away From Home, they provided a safe, nurturing, fun, educational, loving environment for my son and I will be forever grateful for our time there. They made home cooked meals for breakfast and lunch and always had healthy options. They had holiday parties and celebrated birthdays (making the birthday kiddo feel extra special), water days, reptile days, the list goes on. Gabby has truly created a phenomenal daycare and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for childcare. Always happy to be a reference for her and her staff.

We have been using A Home Away From Home for our childcare since 2018! We love how family oriented it is, I know my babies will be treated like they’re their own! Miss Gabby is wonderful, great at communicating and really goes above and beyond for the kiddos! All of my kids have loved coming here and I feel like that alone speaks for itself! I highly recommend and wouldn’t want to send my babies anywhere else 🙂

I am so glad and thankful I found A Home Away From Home. I wish I had found them when my son initially started daycare. They are attentive and love the children as their own. They prepare and do so many fun activities for the children. I feel at ease going to work knowing my son is in good hands. They communicate very well and I would highly recommend.

My daughter was cared for week after week for the past 3 years by Gabriella and her staff. Everyday my daughter was so excited and ready to go to school 🙂 I was always so comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. Not to mention, how prepared my daughter was for VPK! Highly highly highly recommend A Home Away From Home!
