We had a good experience with Jeannette Architects and a great experience when we were working directly with Jeff. The only reason the rating is 4/5 stars is that our initial project manager underperformed and Jeff and a more senior person had to rescue us. They did so happily and we ended up with a great outcome. We relied on Jeannette's experience with contractors to guide bidding and GC selection. Jeff checked-in regularly throughout construction and we would work with him and the firm again without hesitation.

The very best decision my husband and I made was hiring Jeannette Architects for my whole home remodel. We worked directly with the very talented and creative duo Jeff Jeannette and Stefanie Haering. They helped us discover all of the potential our home had to give and provided many options to create space and functionality that we had not considered. From start to finish, Jeannette Architects listened to us and provided suggestions and plans that reflected our best hopes and needs. I always felt informed and respected. Our project moved forward throughly and quickly, especially considering the technical work that was required to rebuild every aspect of my home. My husband and I are so grateful that Stefanie and Jeff helped us throughout the entire project and even all through construction. I felt supported, I could always ask questions and get accurate, timely answers on even the smallest details. Jeannette would routinely check in on us as the work progressed and celebrated with us on the day we got to move back in.

Jeannette Architects designed a beautiful home organized for utility. They created a new floor plan that flows elegantly, is functional and spacious for the homeowners with a sophistication that welcomes friends and family. They were extremely creative with a window plan that maximized the outdoor and indoor symmetry and welcomed natural light throughout my home. Stefanie was an absolute genius in how she found room in my floor plan to expand the primary bath. She added features like a wet room, which allows me to live like a spa queen. I have already recommended them to friends and family. Because of Jeannette Architects, our home is reborn for longevity, enjoyment and to preserve as a family asset.

We hired Jeff and his team to design a complete remodel of our home in Seal Beach.
Our initial consultation was with Jeff on site and walked the property and he gave us a run down of the process. Unlike most architects Jeff will give you a detailed breakdown of the entire timeline from conception to plan completion as well as transparent pricing.
Throughout the design process which took approximately 11 months we met multiple times and working together were able to design our custom home. Additionally out project manager Laura was extremely responsive and helped troubleshoot any problems that arose. We were able to get city approval without too much difficulty and they were available throughout construction as needed.
Overall we are extremely happy with the finished product and would recommend Jeanette Architects for any remodel or custom home project.

We first met with Jeff Jeannette, & Danielle Zunzunegui, on June 28, 2018, to discuss what we felt was our dream home. We decided to remodel our home after living in it for over two years. We had done a major remold to our previous home without the aid of an architect. However being new to Long Beach area we were overwhelmed and the Jeannette Architect was highly recommended by several friends and acquaintances.
We were very impressed after our first meeting with Jeff and Danielle on how they listened to our ideas of what we wanted our home to look like and on our needs for now and into the future. Jeff “got” our vision and he was able to quickly put a preliminary plan on paper. Between the both of them they managed to design a clear plan that met our and desires. They explained clearly that the architectural process which included several meeting and design changes. They also included service to assist in recommending contractors, appliance distributor, construction supervision, and that they would follow through from the beginning to the end of our project. Their knowledge of construction and ever changing City and FEMA requirements was exceptional.
Jeff and Danielle worked closely with our contractor and held him to their high standards. They worked out a time line and budget for our project and with their assistance we managed to stay within the time frame and budget.

We met Jeff and Danielle for about one year before we even started our project. We developed a family friendly, respectful, and professional relationship with the Jeanette Architectural team. Jeff and Danielle were our closes contacts but there whole team was just as supportive and friendly.
We appreciate all that they have achieved for us and recommend them highly.

Jeff has a great eye for detail and is very communicative/responsive. He worked exceptionally well with our contractor. Just an overall talented and extremely nice person. We had to navigate many challenges during Covid on our project and Jeff really stepped up and was helpful in numerous ways. Under the best of circumstances a remodel is stressful and we truly appreciated Jeff's expertise and kindness. We are thrilled with our home.

Friends recommended Jeff Jeannette to us, and we’re very happy we decided to have him design our accessory dwelling unit. From the first visit, he listened to our ideas and understood what we wanted. He never tried to shoehorn us into a preconceived plan. He came back with preliminary sketches and options that clearly helped us see what would work best for us. In addition to his skills as an architect, his knowledge of the city’s ADU process was invaluable in ensuring that the project would be approved quickly. Jeff’s team also was great in walking us through what we would need to do to in terms of fees & permits to get the project off the ground. Everything proceeded in a timely, professional way.

When it came to the plans themselves, the level of detail was extremely helpful to us—and the contractor and subs—in seeing that construction was carried out as we wanted it to be. Jeff also recommended a great interior design company to us and they were a tremendous asset in turning our vision into a reality.

Jeff and his team were there to answer our questions any time and checked in regularly to see how the project was progressing. We’re more than delighted with how the ADU turned out.

In short, Jeannette Architects was great to work with and we’d happily recommend the team for any project.
