This is one of my personal favorites going back over 10 years. It’s a great place that COVID changed for the positive ! Post COVID 5% sales take out - now 50% ! And this place has it all
Table Top Cooking, Great Bar, traditional sitting and tables and great outside patio. I am not going to go deep in the menu except to say I have not had any thing that was not great here …
The stand out for me
The desert peppermint ice cream: Today I can say the only thing better than one scoop is TWO and better than that is Three and … well I put on the breaks at Three but honestly I ate 90% of Rebecca’s ! So I say 3 Plus is the right amount !?

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of food. The service was amazing and I definitely enjoyed the lunch.

Came in with my family and we sat at the bar for some drinks before dinner. Took about 20 minutes before anyone came to help us. We had to grab the menus ourselves, and when the server did come she had the nastiest attitude. Please keep in mind there were only 4 other customers in total in the restraunt at the time. She threw together our drinks like she's upset she had to be there. Then, people that came in after us got their orders taken before us. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for a friendly environment that treats their customers with respect.

THE REVIEWS MAKE SENSE 0 STARS !!

This was our first time here. Very excited as we frequent Shogun a lot. We were sat everything fine until the party next to us ordered an expensive bottle. We no longer existed. That party had thier wine and appetizers brought to them and we still hadn't received our drinks. Then he gladly took their orders and asked us what we wanted even though we still didn't have a drink and we're waiting on him to order an appetizer. We waited 5min & still NOTHING. We just left.

Disappointing. Mediocre & Average fare, at an above average price. While the sushi looks fantastic, the prep is a bit rushed and you can taste the difference. The servers are young with poor hospitality (ours didn't even know their available drinks) and attitude (decided to roll his eyes within line of sight of us); There are no menus and you are required to use your own phone to scan and download a menu to squint at and figure your out your order. Atmosphere is blasé, vibe is sterile, other diners are of the loud stuck up variety that seem to believe this is a good dining experience. Honestly, they can have this one. Would Not Recommend.

This review is for the service we received tonight: Wednesday, 7:00 pm, reservations for 8 at a teppanyaki table.

PROBLEM: After the initial order, the waiter never returned to our table. We had to ask the chef for soup & salad after he cooked the entree, because no one ever brought them.

Also, even though we asked for it, our water glasses and beverage glasses were never refilled throughout the entire meal. Since food is cooked in front of everyone, it was HOT around the table. Every person at the table had empty, dry glasses in front of them.

OBSERVATION:
The restaurant was not busy; there were several empty tables throughout the house, and we saw several waiters, busboys, a hostess and a female owner sitting at a table just behind the hostess. The Restaurant did not appear to be short staffed.

WHY I WILL NEVER GO BACK:
Female owner not interested in our experience whatsoever. When I say she couldn't care any less, I mean she never walked the floor of her restaurant and she didn't want to hear about any problems.

THE REAL MASTERPIECE, THOUGH...
Our party of 8 included a toddler that didn't eat. Parties of 8 have a gratuity automatically added. This can not be removed. We asked that the whole tip go directly to the chef since he was the only one working with us. The owner said no.

FINAL-THOUGHT: Even though the food was good, the lack of service created a negative effect, especially since the female owner was disinterested In actually managing or helping her crew. You might say, the head of the fish smelled here tonight.

We went for sushi, the spicy edamame, skyline, maguro and ono were our favorites. We also had the baked langoustine roll and soft shell crab roll which were ok. Mondays are buy 2 get 1 free on the rolls too! Our server, Samuel was excellent! Always came by at the right time to check on us. It's a little noisy and the bar area is a little blah, so I gave atmosphere a 4.
