I contacted this company in 2021 about getting a structural engineering design for plans designed by an architectural designer in North Carolina. They set up a meeting where we discussed my project and quoted me a cost of services and said they would get started right away. Kevin said he would have the contract emailed over to me. I never received the contract in 7 months. I waited to contact him to try to get the process moving because building was booming and material was extremely high and hard to get, even at the high cost. 7 months later I contacted him and asked if we could get back on track and move forward, at that time his service had doubled in cost and he said we would need to do another meeting before he could start. He never mentioned he would be charging me over $2000 for this requested second meeting to refresh his memory on my project. I paid him $3000 retainer fee in November of 2022 and didn't hear from him again until I contacted him with a representative of the Town building department copied on the email. He then said he had emailed the town in February and never received a response. Fast forward to 2024 this company has added up charges for the past year claiming I owe them thousands of dollars and I never received a stamped copy of the original completed plan I sent to him. Unethical and dishonest. Do not trust them with your project!

We used KRA for our new build on Hilton Head Island this past year. They were extremely easy to work with. They took our requests and input and created a wonderful home for us. We are thrilled with the end result. Questions and concerns were handled promptly. I would recommend them to others who are considering a new build.
